Taverna Stavros

As a worldwide foodie I’m telling you just go to this restaurant. A simple table next to the water surrounded by sailboats - the setting couldn’t be more perfect. Then they’ll show you a case of freshly caught fish for you to choose from. We had baby cod - best I’ve ever had and grilled shrimp that were so amazing and full of shrimp flavor art we came back the next day for a second round. I’d go to Greece and drive up to Sivota again just to eat at Stavros. The people were wonderful and this will go down as one of the best fish/seafood meals in my life’s history. Thank you Stavros team!!

Following our visit in beautiful Sivota for our summer holidays, this restaurant couldn’t serve us a better in taste fresh fish. Every dish was cooked perfectly.

The restaurant is on the harbour side with seating alongside the dock and in the restaurant, which also has upstairs seating. This gives a great view of the port which is very busy with yachts. Food was great and as it is the only fishing port left in Lefkada, then the sea food is plentiful and fresh. In high season you may want to book on line to ensure a table.

We all enjoyed the food. I had an excellent grilled kalamari and the saganaki was particularly good. Electricity and water outlets were plentiful for yachts and we had help with berthing and a welcome shower! Due to the number of yachts and position of the pontoon an early start may not be possible the next day but this is not the fault of the taverna. Would definitely recommend.
