Ostria taverna is located just on the sea shore. Very nice surrounding in Plaka village.
Very polite staff. Good is ok , good Greek salad and grilled fish. The view is the best

My favorite restaurant in Crete!!
Great service but better food! The fresh fish and seafood is outstanding… prepared in a simple, authentic way because the product is first class!
The wines (ask Kostas’ son advice) are also impressive….

Well known for its fresh fish .
Our Table was next to the waters edge ,
We chose our fish and lobster from the iced fridges ,
Staff were very friendly and helpful ,
Food was cooked to perfection
Would definitely recommend
Fish lovers to visit .

What a delightful restaurant in the town of Elounda. Situated right along the water, the food, the service and the ambiance are first-rate. If you’re looking for fancy, this isn’t your place. If you want a warm, authentic and relaxed meal, perfectly prepared, then it should be on your list! We’ve been twice, and will likely go back at least one more time. It’s one of the true highlights of our trip.
