Στο εστιατόριο Ορίζοντες Λυκαβηττού, οι ομορφότερες εικόνες που γεμίζουν τη ματιά κάθε επισκέπτη, είναι προς τη μεριά της Ακρόπολης και προς τον Πειραιά, όπου όταν το επιτρέπουν οι καιρικές συνθήκες, διακρίνεται και ο Σαρωνικός κόλπος. Σε αυτό ακριβώς το σημείο, βρίσκεται το εστιατόριο Ορίζοντες Λυκαβηττού, ένα από τα καλύτερα εστιατόρια της Αθήνας.
Απαλές αποχρώσεις, λιτές γραμμές και αριστοκρατική φινέτσα κυριαρχούν στο χώρο. Διακόσμηση σύγχρονη και προσεγμένη, χαρακτηρίζεται από τη διακριτική πολυτέλεια των υλικών, τις έμμεσες κλασσικές αναφορές σχημάτων, χαμηλούς τόνους και απαλό φωτισμό, που αναδεικνύουν την υπέροχη πανοραμική θέα. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant. The service was very good and all personnel very attentive to our requests. The food was yummy and good portions and the drinks were great too. The Desserts were rounded up well and were a great finish to our lovely evening. Thank you to the team.

Die Atmosphäre war echt gut und die Aussicht war Mega.
Wir hatten eine Rechnung von über 120 Euro für 2 Personen und der Kellner bringt uns ohne Aufforderung die Rechnung und meine wir müssten jetzt bald gehen.
Obwohl wir noch ein paar Cocktails wollten.
Sehr schön aber die Kellner sind sehr unhöflich

The restaurant is a wonderful experience when you get up on the mountain. Location of the restaurant is hard to reach, but makes up because of the view. We got a soup, which was a gift from the chef, and that was a great suprise. Overall it is worth it to go,

Είναι ένα πραγματικά υπέροχο εστιατόριο με πάρα πολύ νόστιμα και εκλεπτυσμένα πιάτα. Η θέα που παρέχει είναι συγκλονιστική!

The food was wonderful, service great and view amazing. It had been several years since I’ve been there. I live in Patras and don’t get to Athens very often. My daughter was here visiting with friends and decided she wanted to have dinner there. Great choice!! We will definitely be back❤️
When I made the reservations we had 6 in our party. Unfortunately 2 could not make it and only 4 showed. They didn't flinch, they sat us at the table with smiles. The food was impressive for being on tip top of a mount and the only way up is via a trolley. The staff, food, selection of wines dessert everything warrants in my opinion to be ranked among g the very best in Athens. I have been there now half dozen times every time has been a highlight of our visit to Athens. Congratulations.

Unbelievable view of Athens. Go there at sunset. Try and get an outside table (summer). Food was very good. Upmarket prices.

Mediocre food and service, this restaurant will no doubt continue to thrive because of the spectacular view. Receipt was only provided in Greek and when we asked a fellow diner to translate it for us, it turned out we'd been overcharged multiple items. The waiter immediately went and got the receipt changed but considering what a popular destination it is, perhaps the restaurant could consider printing receipts in English too. To avoid the unpleasant aftertaste to the evening.

Full ambiance is great.
Our table was on the outdoor terrace with a perfect view of the Acropolis, the National Gardens, and the full moon! Service and food were both excellent!
In my opinion, this was the best meal we had in Greece. They provided us with free pita, olives, hummus and tzatziki.
My fish risotto literally melted in my mouth and I am actually not a fish fan.
We ate every bite of everything we were served.
The only downside was that there was only one waitress for the whole restaurant and it has clearly grown to where they need more help.
But she was gracious and made the experience enjoyable anyway.

This restaurant is a MUST in athens! - we walked up to the cable car (a bit of a workout) and once arrived at the restaurant we were absolutely stunned by the view!!! We were nervous that the food couldn’t possibly impress but were pleasantly surprised. The pasta dish and the lamb were extraordinarily good - however, the lamb was a petit portion. Desserts amazing. They would’ve made more $$ from our group with more attentive service - as they were too busy to properly bring more drinks etc that said; we loved this restaurant and will tell all our friends to go!
A great spot for a last dinner before leaving Greece. The panoramic view is the best in Athens. The price/quality ratio of the food is not the best. Service is OK. Ascend with the funicular, descend by foot - but beware the path is not lighted.

Absolutely a must do on your trip to Athena. This is my second trip to Greece after living here from 87-88 but my first time to this restaurant. I wish I did it sooner.
Terrence view of lighted Acropolis is amazing. But note that you cannot see the sunset from this restaurant.
Service is slow and confusing. They don’t have a system assigning table numbers to waiters. You have to grab whoever you see to get bill and pay.
We ordered Bream fillets, pork and sea bass. The grill pork is huge. Grilled Feta so so but the veal appetizer is delicious.
When comparing other restaurants in Athens we have been too, the quality of the food doesn’t match up with the price but it’s the view that you are paying for right?
We ordered two desserts, the first one with mulli and icecream and baklava. The former is so yummy and not that sweet but the baklava is too sweet
Please note that you have to pay $10 euro to take a transfer via tunnel to go up and down the restaurant and they are not efficient
Phenomenal location high up in the sky with great food ! Service is excellent. Definitely a must do while in Athens!!

My reservation is at 12 noon but they are opened at 12.30pm. Please either open at 12 noon or start taking reservations at 12.30pm.

The views of the city are great, but you won't see the sun go down in the sunset, as that view is behind the lycabetes lookout. The food is good, but too expensive (quantity and quality). When you ask for a glass of wine, they don't serve it in front of you, so you don't know if it is the wine you ordered. The tables are WAY close one of another.
It’s always a real pleasure to have a diner in this very special place.
The food was appropriate for a beautiful evening near the summit of Lycabettus over Athens. A cool breeze a day after fires raged in Penteli made the night comfortable. The staff made sure we were hydrated and satiated. The kids were treated nicely. Great spot for a date. 10 € ride up and down. Watch out for opportunistic cabbies making a stab at unwarranted extras.
The view is utterly breath taking. I have never been to such an amazing restaurant. The staff look after you well, the menu choice is brilliant. This is a must if you visit Athens. You won't be disappointed.

The view and ambiance are wonderful, unique, and beyond superlatives. The service is quite good too. Only the food disappoints by comparison with the extraordinariness of everything else.

bill for the cable car you will need for your way down from Lycabettus (ticket machine is a flinstones version that does not accept cards let alone apple pay)
You wouldn't expect this to be the cheapest place, that's not what you go for but the view, the ambience and the service are 10/10. The food is brilliant and there's nothing bad you could say about this place...except the steps you need to climb, but you can always take the cable car.

Despite windy weather the views of Athens were amazing. The service was a bit ragged with a large group taking much of the staff time. Food was good and staff were friendly.
