Θέλετε να φάτε ολόφρεσκο ψαράκι με θέα την θάλασσα??? Αν ναι, τότε το ουζερί Μπαλαούρο στην Καβάλα, είναι αυτό που ζητάτε... Από το 2004 στον χώρο της εστίασης, θεωρείται ένα από τα καλύτερα μαγαζιά της πόλης, με υπέροχη θέα το λιμάνι. Σε ένα χαλαρό και ευχάριστο περιβάλλον, σας δίνει την δυνατότητα να γευτείτε λαχταριστά ορεκτικά, ουζομεζέδες, ολόφρεσκα θαλασσινά και ψαρικά αλλά και κρεατικά, ακριβώς δίπλα στην θάλασσα!
Θα συναντήσετε το Μπαλαούρο στην οδό Θάσου 19 στο Λιμανάκι Σφαγείων. Προσεγμένο εστιατόριο σε πάρα πολύ όμορφη τοποθεσία δίπλα στη θάλασσα σε ένα γραφικό λιμανάκι σε απόσταση σχεδόν 10 λεπτά από την πόλη.
Ilk kez gittik ve cok memnun kaldik . Yemekler cok lezetlitidi ,personeller ilgiliydi ve aile icin harika bi ortam vardi. Tavsiye ederiz, bizde tekrar gideriz ..

Biz Restauranta çok yekın bir lokasyonda kaldık. Ev sahibimiz önerisiydi. Yerelde daha çok tercih edildiğini söyledi. Gerçekten çok memnun kaldık. Hem lezzet hem porsiyonlar çok güzel ve yeterliydi.

We had a great experience in the restaurant. The food and ambiance were perfect. The fish choices are good and they all are fresh. The staff of the restaurant were very kind ready to help with our needs. It is next to the water with a beautiful view.

Balaouro Restaurant is an absolutely charming seaside spot in Kavala. We had made a reservation in advance, and they kindly reserved a lovely table close to the water for us — the view and atmosphere were just perfect.
I would honestly recommend every dish on the menu. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The variety of fish and meze was impressive. A standout for me was the stuffed vine leaves (sarmale) — so tender and delicious, they practically melted in the mouth. The zucchini fritters, calamari, and salad were also highlights. Don’t miss out on the grilled cheese either!
The house wine was surprisingly good, and for two people, we left absolutely full and satisfied — and all for just €40, which is incredible value for the quality and service.
The staff were warm, attentive, and very professional. There were also Turkish-speaking staff who were especially helpful and welcoming. The complimentary ice cream at the end was such a sweet touch.
All in all, a wonderful dining experience — great food, excellent service, beautiful location, and unbeatable prices. Highly recommended!

A restaurant we went to as a family and were very pleased with. The staff were polite and the service was incredibly fast. Everything on the menu was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant's location by the sea gave us the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful evening meal. Thank you very much for everything. We will definitely visit again whenever we go to Kavala.
I found a lovely restaurant near the sea where everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully cooked. The service was great, and the prices were pleasantly affordable for such a perfect seaside meal.

Öncelikle ortam, deniz manzarası çok keyifliydi. Genel olarak yediklerimizden memnun kaldık ancak kabak kızartması çok yağlıydı.

The location and the view of the restaurant were truly lovely. The fish was fresh and delicious, and the fried zucchini was absolutely amazing. We also tried the restaurant’s special salad and loved it! The staff were attentive and friendly, which added to the pleasant experience. The only downside was that the table we sat at became a bit dim after sunset, but overall, we had a great time and would definitely come again.

Το φαγητο ηταν αρκετα καλο και οι μεριδες παραπανω απο τιμιες. Οι τιμες ηταν κανονικες. Το μονο αρνητικο ηταν η αργη εξυπηρετηση (περιμεναμε πολυ ωρα να ερθουν τα φαγητα και ηρθαν ενα -ενα με αρκετα μεγαλη χρονικη διαφορα μεταξυ τους).

We have been coming to Balaouro for years now and have never once been disappointed. The fish is always fresh and well prepared, and the service is always perfect. I always get the sense that every server is the son of the owner. Excellent. Every. Time. Highly recommend.
If you look for a good seafood restaurant, this one won’t be wrong, the service are very good and they are all friendly and professional. No need to mention, food are amazing.
Someone local told me the restaurant has been on fire and they renovate it and the food its much better because they have a new chef.
The only thing that i did not like it is part of the deck where there is no fence to protect the kids to fall in water and there is too much cats .
Our landlord of the appartment recommended this location, which is only 5 min from the city center in a very nice small port (5€ by taxi). Very good food, very fast and professional service and nice people! Next time we are in Kavala, we are definitely coming back! Thanks!

Place is more then a classic touristic restaurant. So that you can taste the real cousine menu.
Place is at the end of kavala but it is worth to go.
When we arrived at the restaurant first the waiter didn't want to listen to us that we had already a reservation and directly refused to show us a free seat and when I insisted that we had a reservation then he checked from a list, then said Ok, later he showed us a free table not very preferable, I asked for a better, more spacious place showing one on the corner, he told me that that place was for 8 people and as we were 6 he couldn't give us that place, then we agreed for another table. However after a while a group of 4 men came and surprisingly sat at the table which were supposed to be for 8 people.
We ate the food which was Ok but I have some doubts about the interesting way the waiter had.

Το προσωπικό στο εστιατόριο Μπαλαούρο ήταν ευγενέστατο, γρήγορο και πολύ εξυπηρετικό και τα πιάτα που δοκιμάσαμε ήταν όλα φτιαγμένα με μεράκι και πολύ νοστιμιά, το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα για οποίον βρεθεί κοντά στο Λιμανάκι των Σφαγείων!!!!!!
