We found this place on a stroll away from our hotel. We booked in, enjoyed the craft IPA (A welcome break from the lager), authentic Italian food and lovely service. Worth a visit and a walk.

Accommodating to our children who wanted fries and the lovely lady asked the chef to make some homemade chips in the oven. Food was amazing and plentiful. Great seasoning and fresh ingredients
Pizza was homemade and thoroughly enjoyed
They accommodated my son who has food allergies.

Ristorante super! Siamo italiani quindi il giudizio sul mangiare italiano è molto severo ! Bruschette eccezionali. Pasta ottima ! Consigliamo questo ristorante a chi ama i sapori italiani di eccellenza. Servizio gentile e attento. Noi abitiamo a Creta ma è qui che ci fermiamo per ritrovare i sapori di casa! Complimenti a tutto lo staff. Dimenticavamo di parlare della pizza..... ottima. A presto Basilico !

Basilico Nuovo is a hidden gem in Kato Gouves. When you are in Kato Gouves you MUST eat at Basilico Nuovo. It is the best restaurant in the area. Basilico is way above average. Delicious dishes, home made, and perfect service.
