Like I said....the food was very tasty. Very fresh. The atmosphere was excellent. The service was maybe a little slow but that was understandable because the restaurant was completely full. We will definitely be back again.

I had the Greek salad with grilled octopus which was delicious. Also, their special fish salad appetizer which is better than the tarmasoulada. Their local carafe of wine is wonderful and grandma’s orange cake! We like it so much that we went back a second time while in Crete. Prices were reasonable too.

Nikos Fish Taverna is a gem - situated in the middle of the road in Elounda its fresh fish is caught daily. The prices are good, and staff friendly and it’s always busy - a good indication in a village with a plethora of tavernas.
