We have been past this restaurant many times on the bus into Chania, on our way back from Chania the aroma coming from this restaurant prompted me to book a table for my family and I can tell you this was the best decision I made during our holiday in Crete, the service you get from front of house to leaving is fantastic. our first visit there was live music and this made the evening even more special.

If you want traditional Kanelis is the place to attend in Platanias. We were advised to have the Lamb Anti-cristi and it did not let me down. Both Succulent and Crispy pieces of lamb cooked the traditional way.- Sublime ! Great knowledgeable and friendly service at a good price ! Well worth a visit !
Ordered the Cretan style lamb and Cretan salad. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Would recommend :)

We enjoyed several meals here while we stayed at Minoa Palace nearby. It was the perfect ambiance, sitting outside with live authentic Greek music being performed! The food is incredible and you must go visit Nikos and the team. We will be back when we visit Crete next. Yamas!
We were recommended this restaurant by another restaurant owner who was related to the people running it. It was amazing. We both had lamb as advised by the man taking our order, and it was just delicious - and so much of it! Then some wild entertainment courtesy of visiting musicians who were brilliant, and the staff who danced. We loved it, and will visit again next year! Thank you for wonderful food and a very warm welcome!

Είμασταν τυχεροί γιατί πήγαμε Κυριακή και είχε live μουσική...όλο τον χειμώνα περίμενα αυτή την στιγμή...κρητικές λιχουδιές και μουσικές σε έναν εντελώς παραδοσιακό χώρο..Kanelis Cretan....SE EYXARISTW !!
