The reservation went perfectly. The tavern is very romantically located in the old town of Malia. A new employee was being trained in the service department. You have to be sympathetic to the good woman. She did her job well. The food was excellent. I highly recommend it.
Food quality, service and value all top notch. Love the smoked port pasta, pork knuckle, mussels, zucchini patties, event the bread roll was fab; we ate here 3 times this visit, will definitely book again next visit.
wie immer - auch meine Gäste - waren wieder super begeistert. ob Vor- oder Hauptspeisen. und der Zitronenkuchen zum Nachtisch , alles super. ich kann nicht klagen. 5 Sterne reichen nicht. es passt einfach alles. ich freue mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch. Schön das dieses Restaurant auch im Winter geöffnet ist.

Das Kalesma ist ein nettes kleines Restaurant wo man sich auch auf deutsch verständigen kann. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Essen war sehr gut und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut 👍. Wir können das Kalesma nur weiterempfehlen.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal: vegetable risotto and vegetable linguine. The service was impeccable and the restaurant was beautiful.

A little bit hidden in the old part of Malia lies this smaller restaurant run by Dimitri for as many years as we visit Crete. It has a nice atmosphere, the food is good and reasonably priced. We make it a habit to visit this restaurant every time we are in Malia and are never disappointed. Hope to see again you in the future, Dimitri!
While in Malia we went to Kalesma twice, and both times the service was incredible, and the food amazing. Just don't go to the restaurant thinking it will be quick. Quality takes time, and everything at Kalesma was was quality first. I can't stress enough just how fresh and delicious all the food was, really a great overall experience!

Περασαμε πολυ ωραια. Ηρεμη και φιλική ατμόσφαιρα, ηταν όλοι ευγενεστατοι...και κυριως πολυ ωραιο φαγητο σε λογικες τιμες! Σιγουρα θα ξαναπάμε!

Un ristorante nel centro storico, ambiente tipico, molto caratteristico e suggestivo
Ci è piaciuto moltissimo,cibo ottimo, piatti abbondanti e estrema cordialità
De sfeer was aangenaam en het eten was lekker. Prachtig al die bloemen. Soms duurde het wel even voordat er iemand kwam voor het drinken. Ook smaakte mijn eerste slokken wijn naar sigaret. Degene die het serveert rookt zag ik. Tip: zou het met je andere hand serveren :-)
