We were recommended to go here by a taxi driver in Agios and it did not disappoint, great service, superb food and a view you would never get bored of over to the island of Spinalonga.. would highly recommend and will most definately return

Just what we hoped for from other reviews. Delicious food, great menu, friendly service and stunning views. You pay a little more for the view and the elevated cuisine but worth it.

Love the Sea Bass and de boned at our table,
As our main course we selected the sea bass in the salt crust and the sea bream made with veggies in a foil. Both were excellent. Services was very good, too! Overall, we had a great dining experience overlooking the sea and Spinalonga.
Yet another wonderful meal at this amazing family run restaurant in Plaka, Crete. As always, the welcome was more like greeting family members, and the food - hummus and grouper - was stunning! That’s without mentioning the view across to Spinalonga!
Beautiful restaurant on the water in Plaka with even better service and food. Had the best seafood linguini ever. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Glad we booked an outside table as views over Spinalonga are gorgeous and we were lucky to watch full moon rising over the island.
Good food, friendly service, not cheap but never going to be in that location, we would definitely go back there
On the water's edge, excellent location, amazing service, delicious food even though the price is a bit more expensive than the other taverns on the island. We had a great time Our second time on the island and in the restaurant and not the last time!

Dawno nie byłem w tak pysznej restauracji. Wszystko smakowało przepysznie! Byliśmy 13 osobowa grupa i każdy był zachwycony. Smażone kalmary, dorada, małże wyśmienite. Makaron z owocami morza w sosie z szafranem zamiótł!
Wspaniała rodzinna atmosfera! R. Makłowicz miał racje polecając ta restauracje na swoim kanale!

Our children sampled octupus nearly every day in our 10-day trip and "awarded" Giovanni's as the best of the trip and my husband said possible of his life. The salt-crusted sea bass and lobster pasta were also outstanding. A "must visit" if you are in the Elounda area.
The scene of the restaurant on the shoreline was surpassed by the quality of the food and service. The seafood was phenomenal!! We ate there twice due to the high quality experience.
