When we were there it was very quiet, we were the only customers. During the evening it was getting bustier but we left around 19.00h so we don't really know how busy it got. The drinks were amazing. Very tasty, not too much alcohol or overpowering flavours. The food was very delicious and the price was really good, especially if you compare it to the bigger cities like Fira and Oia. The waiter was very kind to show interest in where we were from and he also gave some explanation about a 'unique dessert'. When we came a second time we found out that if you order a starter or dessert to share, you get a bigger portion compared to the the regular size of you order one for yourself alone.
All in all, a very nice restaurant, nice waiters who speak English really well. Food is amazing, vibe is great and drinks are very tasty. When we come back to the island we will definitely visit this place again
Great restaurant! The food was fresh and flavorful, the staff were friendly, and the service was quick. I especially enjoyed the Moussaka and shrimp. The Greek folk dance and breaking of plates was one of my favorite as all guests got to participate. We had a wonderful evening. Definitely recommend this place to others

Food tasted amazing and service was to a high standard, waiters were very professional.
We went for dinner and it was our son’s birthday. They came out with a cake and sang a birthday song for him. Everyone was nice, friendly and the service was top notch. The food was delicious and fresh. Go and visit!

Gorgeous seabass seviche and lobster linguine was served with the whole lobster, which was prepped table side and added to beautiful pasta (gluten free avaailable) and lobster bisque.
Spicy margaritas were also amazing.
My partner is gluten intolerant and they offer amazing gluten free, reshly baked bread on the menu, served with olive oil, something he never gets to enjoy. He was very happy.
We came back for lunch before going to the airport and took some bread with us for his sandwich on the plane.
We spend a beautiful night, the food was amazing, Theofanis salad is a must and the service was super top, with very kind and professional people.

We dined at this lovely restaurant on many occasions, great food and attentive, courteous and friendly service. Great live traditional music on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Thoroughly recommend

Je recommande vivement ce restaurant situé dans le petit village de Megalochori. Excellente ambiance avec musique traditionnelle grecque et ensuite on casse les assiettes. La nourriture est très bonne avec des prix raisonnables par rapport à de nombreux restaurants de l’île.
The food at Theofanis did not disappoint - the server provided some excellent recommendations and we dove head in.
The seafood pasta was a big hit, as were the garlic prawns/shrimp. We couldn’t not order the pork steak (something I haven’t really seen in the US), but it was so delicious and tender - and the flavor on it made the dish a huge winner.
We shared the meal family style and the owner of the restaurant was so kind and gracious with our family as we left.
I will be returning!
If you are looking for a one of a kind dinner and entertainment experience, then look no further. The food was delicious. You are treated like family from the minute you walk in. Definitely go later 7:30 or after to be able to partake in the plate smashing fun! Everyone gets to smash plates on the floor (if they choose) and dancing follows.
If you are staying in Thira, be sure to book a transfer back as the public bus last pickup is at 8:20.

Excellent greek quality food ! The personnel was very professional and sympathetic. On greek nights there is some traditional greek music that adds to the experience. We had a great evening at Theofanis !
Very good dinner in a very relaxed atmosphere. Cheaper prices than in other places on the island. On Wednesday and Saturday they break plates and there is a local show. Highly recommended
