I had dinner at “Stou mamma” since I was looking for an authentic-not touristy place in Athens. I can now confirm that this place is everything I was looking for! The ambience is cozy and familiar, the food is traditional with a little contemporary twist, the service is kind and makes you feel welcome. You have to try their Moussaka, the best I’ve ever had for sure! Definelly reccomend, I’d love to come back for more!
Μια απο τις καλύτερες εμπειρίες στο είδος του στο Κέντρο. Ωραία πιάτα ελαφρώς δημιουργικά ελληνικής κουζίνας! Θα ξανα έρθουμε!
Οι γεύσεις στα πιάτα είναι εξαίσιες. Το αγαπάμε αυτο το εστιατόριο και σίγουρα ιθα ξαναπάμε.
Ευγενέστατο sevice και πολύ νόστιμες γεύσεις. Οτιδήποτε δοκιμάσαμε ήταν εξαιρετικό, με αποκορύφωμα την αποδομημένη σπανακόπιτα σε σαλάτα καθώς και το μοσχαράκι σχάρας. Οι τιμές είναι πολύ λογικές(25-30€/άτομο). Είναι ένα μαγαζί στο οποίο θα ξαναπηγαίναμε άνετα λόγω των πολύ νόστιμων πιάτων, τα οποία απ' ότι καταλάβαμε εναλλάσσονται στο μενού κατά διαστήματα. Τα πέντε αστέρια τα βάζουμε παντού, εκτός από την ατμόσφαιρα. Ο εσωτερικός χώρος είναι πολύ ουδέτερος ως ψυχρός. Χρειάζεται μια ανακαίνιση και γενικά βελτίωση στη διακόσμηση.

Βρίσκεται στο κέντρο της Αθήνα αλλά σε πολύ ήσυχο σημείο!
Άψογο και γρήγορο service πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό, πολύ νόστιμα και ιδιαίτερα πιάτα και σε πολύ καλές τιμές.
Θα το επισκεφτούμε ξανά σίγουρα.

The location, in a quite street, make this restaurant a cozy and private place. The food is homemade and fresh, the moussaka was perfect. The waiter was so professional but he seems a little overwhelmed, but he served us on time and with a smile.

The food was expertly prepared and bursting with flavour, and the ambiance was warm and inviting.
Τα πιάτα ήταν ιδιαίτερα τόσο σε γεύση οσο και σε εμφάνιση! Η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν σαν να βρίσκεσαι σε ένα νησί και θέλουν να σε προσέξουν σαν τα μάτια τους οι οικοδεσπότες! Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!!

Συνέπεια και γρηγοραδα, εξυπηρέτηση και ευγένεια....το φαγητό νοστιμο, λίγο μεγαλύτερες ποσότητες δε θα ήταν άσχημα. Ο χωρος όμορφος, χρειάζεται κάτι ακομη για ζεστασιά

Everything we had was great. Lovely little restaurant in front of an old church.
Loved this place and the friendly staff! We got the lamb, octopus, and eggplant. We also got a baklava as well. Such a cute and charming atmosphere tucked away in Athens!

Very interesting and delicious dishes and great service in a hip part of Athens. The dishes use classically Greek flavors in new and unique ways. We all loved it! The mousaka was the best we’ve ever had

The restaurant is a lovely whitewashed affair with pink flowers. It is comfortable with outside seating for the warmer weather. The food is large portions so beware those who have smaller appetites. The Tzatziki and spicy cheese spreads are heavenly, and the beetroot and caramelised walnut salad is a joy. The Aubergine with sweet potato was beautiful, and the house wine is a pleasant, refreshing drink served chilled. The service is lovely and friendly.
