We had a very enjoyable evening overall. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, and the staff gave us recommendations, although not all of them worked out well for us.
The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and the fish soup was absolutely excellent. However, we were surprised to discover that the Lionfish carpaccio we had ordered separately was essentially the same fish featured in the soup. Had we known this in advance, we probably would have chosen a different starter. A little more guidance from the staff would have made the experience even better.
One recommendation we unfortunately cannot share is the Cretan sparkling wine. We found it rather unpleasant and could only drink it after adding plenty of sparkling water.
Another small disappointment was the wine service. We ordered 125 ml glasses of wine/Prosecco, and the pours were measured with remarkable precision—if anything, they even seemed a little on the small side. In Greece, where hospitality is usually so generous, this felt surprisingly ungenerous.
Despite these minor points, the quality of the food was exceptional, and we would happily return.

I have been in that place twice, this year and last year during my vacation, food is great taste and quality, service is on the highiest level. Trully recomend.
It was the first night of the season however, the food was perfect. The service was perfect. It was not a lot of people so not a lot of ambience but other than that really enjoyed.
This place is everything you need, to enjoy an outstanding meal.

The Pelagos is as good a restaurant as we have eaten at in our fortnight in Crete, a world away from the traditional Greek taverna experience.

Πολύ ωραίο φαγητό, προσεγμένο, φινετσατες γεύσεις αλλά σε λογικά πλαίσια. Το σέρβις εξαιρετικό, πρόθυμοι να εξυπηρετησουν και να βοηθήσουν. Πήγαμε τελευταία στιγμή Σάββατο βράδυ χωρίς κράτηση και κοίταξαν να μας βρουν λύση
Εξαιρετικός χώρος, υπέροχη ατμόσφαιρα, άψογοι και εξυπηρετικοί υπάλληλοι !! Το φαγητό σοκ όπως πάντα!!! Το φετινό μενού μακράν το πιο γευστινο

A real gem
Food need to be improved
This hotel restaurant defies the local taverna experience (which I love) to bring an elevated dining experience to the beach. Every time we are in the area we make sure to have dinner at this amazing restaurant. Everything from the starters to the desserts are well thought out combination of flavors that incorporate everything Cretan but in a new way. Don’t hesitate to order anything in the menu. You won’t be disappointed. One more comment, excellent wine choices served in excellent wine glasses. Go go go to this wonderful restaurant, you will not be disappointed.
