The restaurant " kipos ton gefseon" (meaning Garden of Flavors) is a beautiful renovated neo-classic building of the '30s surrounded with a flora yard.
The interiors of the restaurant consists of three air-conditioned rooms with high ceilings, with charming pieces of neo-classic furniture and an impressive collection of old-style chairs. Very impressive is the "Serra", an enclosed heated winter-garden with sliding glass roof, the beauty of which lies not only the trees but also the unique opportunity to see the rain and enjoy your food in the warmth. On the back side of the building there is a garden where you can enjoy your dinner under different trees. Orange, lemon, walnut, olive, apricot, pomegranate and laurel trees form a beautiful natural environment, unique in the town of Heraklion.
The cuisine is based on the Cretan diet principles. Organic vegetables, olive-oil and local products are used for the recipes, mainly from the Greek and Cretan cuisine.
