The moment you enter, you’re welcomed by one of the owners, who shows you the catch of the day. Everything he recommended was superb, and the rest of the dishes we ordered from the menu were equally delicious. The tables are set on the first floor, with an incomparable view of the Aegean Sea.
Captain Sifakis is a great choice if you are visiting Kastro for dinner. It is a traditional seafood restaurant and that's a good thing. You get to see their range of fish and choose your own. The food is fabulous and the view over the ocean and moonrise second to none.
Our lunch at Captain Sifakis was a highlight of our trip to Sifnos. The location is amazing with beautiful fresh and delicious seafood with excellent service. This is a special place and the perfect relaxing long lunch location.

We had a lovely meal at Captain Sifakis - the food was great, the atmosphere was beautiful. BUT… we sat next to a small group of LOUD women, playing music from their phones and singing even louder.. other than that - a great experience.

J'ai facilement réservé sur le site web le restaurant, ce qui était très agréable en pleine période estivale à Sifnos où il est difficile d'avoir une table facilement.
Nous avons été accuelllis avec le sourire, on nous a présenté la pêche du jour. On nous a fait cadeau de 2 poissons en plus !
Nous avons demandé à changer de table pour en avoir une meilleure, elle nous a été donnée !
Le dîner a été une succession de gestes commerciaux, de symapthie, de rires de la part du service
C'était l'anniversaire de ma mère, et il nous ont offert un dessert avec un yaourt (exquis !!) et des raisins de leur jardin - c'était absolument délicieux.
Et à la fin on nous a présenté la gérante du restaurant qui nous a fait la bise
Je ne peux pas assez recommander ce restaurant, j'ai adoré, la gentillesse, le service, la cuisine...

Αυτό που μας έκανε και ξεχωρίσαμε το εστιατόριο Καπετάν Σιφάκης έιναι πως όλα τα παραδοσιακά ελληνικά πιάτα παίρνουν άλλες διαστάσεις,,,και τι εννοω??
έχετε ξανακούσει χταπόδι στιφάδο ? εμείς και το ακούσαμε και το φάγαμε και μείναμε και έκπληκτοι.....
