Been there twice on our Athens trip and it was highly recommended by a friend. The souvlaki are really great and so we had a lot of them. Staff was very nice and so we really had a good evening there.

Great option, close to the ACROPOLIS, to go with the family.
So far our best spot for dinner!… Best souvlaki we have had in Athens! Salads, kebabs, souvlaki, wine… all excellent, and service is excellent as well!
Great food, attentive service and a very nice spot in a neighbourhood close to main sights yet not crowded by tourists.

Το επισκεφθήκαμε ένα σαββατόβραδο του Ιουνίου ήμασταν μία παρέα εφτά ατόμων τέσσερις ενήλικες και τρία παιδιά. Καθίσαμε έξω όπου επικρατούσε μία σχετική δροσούλα ήταν ευχάριστο για συνομιλία καθώς η μουσική που έπαιζε από πίσω δε σκεπάζει τις κουβέντες μας. Το προσωπικό γρήγορο Ευγενικό και μας κατατόπισε σχετικά με την παραγγελίες μας. Παραγγείλαμε τρεις μερίδες πατάτες (λάθος μας καθότι ήταν αρκετά μεγάλες) 12 πολύ ζουμερά σαν καλοκαιρινό μάνγκο καλαμάκια χοιρινά με μία υπέροχη mustard-mayo σαλτσούλα, δύο κοτόπουλα καλαμάκι τα οποία τα κορίτσια το έφαγα και χαμογελούσαν με το στόμα γεμάτο και δύο εξαιρετικά ψημένα Και τρομερά σε γεύση μοσχαρίσια καλαμάκια. Οι τιμές ήταν value for money αν ψάχνεις ένα μέρος που το καλαμάκι αντιμετωπίζεται σαν σοβαρή υπόθεση Χωρίς δήθεν ύφος τότε το Kalamaki bar μπαίνει άνετα στη λίστα «Πας Ξανά»

This was the best meal we had in Athens - and possibly our best meal in Greece! The food was really excellent - very fresh, hot, great flavours and grilled right in front of us! We had a delicious meal with excellent service and were only sad that we couldn't go back! A really great place to eat!
Delicious kebabs/skewers. We each ordered a salad, some skewers and a plate of fries with feta to share. Timely service and attention from wait staff. Located just a few blocks down from the main tourist area.

πολυ νοστιμο το μπιφτεκι, τέλειες πατάτες τηγανιτές και πολυ δροσερή η σαλάτα βοσπορος που πηραμε. πολυ γρηγορο σερβις, περιποιημένος χώρος.
Τα μπριζολάκια τα χοιρινά δεν μου άρεσαν, τα βρήκα πολυ στεγνά. Περαν τουτου ομως ολα ήταν σουπερ.

Nos gustó mucho la comida: todo sabroso y recién salido de los fogones. Con una relación calidad/precio excepcional.
La atención del personal fue de sobresaliente, como debe ser, simpáticos y dispuestos a echarte una mano con el menú y a recomendar platos.
Muy ricas las ensaladas y las brochetas de carne (Kalamaki - skewer). A mi la que más me gustó fue la de ternera.
También probamos el "KEBAB stuffed with cream cheese" y los "FRESH MUSHROOMS - Grilled" y nos gustaron mucho.
Estuvimos tan a gusto que decidimos repetir pese a los pocos días que teníamos en la capital griega.

The staff's attention was outstanding, as it should be, friendly and willing to help you with the menu and recommend dishes.
Very delicious salads and meat skewers (Kalamaki - skewer). The one I liked the most was the beef.
We also tried the "KEBAB stuffed with cream cheese" and the "FRESH MUSHROOMS - Grilled" and we liked them a lot.
We were so pleased that we decided to repeat despite the few days we had in the Greek capital.

Located in the pedestrian part of Drakou Street, the terrace of the Kalamaki Bar welcomes you in the popular atmosphere of the Koukaki district. The welcome is cordial, the service is affable and smiling. Despite my approximate English, there is no language barrier. Traditional dishes with good value for money. However, one small criticism: the white wine was not cold enough, but the "pita" that came out of the oven was delicious
The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious and the prices were affordable!
We enjoyed our meals here. We shared an entree of Hummus and pita bread and some grilled mushrooms with thyme. Delicious. We then had lamb skewers for main with a Greek salad. Simple food but delicious. Washed down with Avery reasonable wine. The service was great.
My family came here for lunch and ordered the pita, tzatziki, a few different skewers, and a Greek Salad to share. The food was fresh and tasty, the same as the service. Our waiter helped us call a taxi back to the cruise port, he went out of his way and it was very much appreciated.
