This was a return visit as we were here last year, and we're happy to report that the reception, quality of the ingredients, the cooking, and the reception by the staff all remain first-rate. In fact we were in Athens for a week this time and chose to eat here twice. Yannis, who presides over the front end of the house with great good humor and solicitude for his customers, receives you with the very best traditional Greek hospitality. The servers were all top-of- the-line as well. Special thanks to Dionissia for her gracious help. I should mention the very high-quality wine list offered here. Don't hesitate to ask Yannis for recommendations as he knows the local wines of Greece very well indeed. Very much recommended.

A cosy place with delicious food, helpful and polite staff. Highly recommended for fresh fish.
I have been several times to this restaurant. Brought family and friends and never been disappointed. I love that when you select a fish, you can have it prepared as you wish, BUT if you can’t decide, you can have half grilled and the other half, ceviche or sashimi as an option for the other half.
The fish soup is definitely worth trying and delicious. The chips are home made. And excellent selection of wines.
Stumbled upon this place while passing by and was amazed by the freshness and tastiness of the food! The service was amazing, they always helped you if you needed suggestions on what to order / what portion / which wine would be good for the specific dishes you ordered. The oysters were simply amazing, it is hard to find good ones in Athens so we will definitely be back again! Thank you Fish Market!
Great vibe and food in the middle of mavilis square
We were there due to a conference and we spent a couple of hours eating typical food in a very nice and typical restaurant. We experienced Greek summer vibes. Very recommended

Best meal we had in Athens. Totally worth travelling to a new part of town for this cozy gem. Everything was top notch from the appetizers and vegetable sides to the perfectly grilled whole fish.
Απολαύσαμε ολόφρεσκα στρείδια, την σαλάτα με το παντζάρι,φάβα με χταπόδι,το δροσερό ceviche τσιπούρας και το πεντανόστιμο ραβιόλι γαρίδας!Μείναμε ενθουσιασμένοι!!Το προσωπικό ευγενέστατο και εξυπηρετικότατο!Θα ξαναπάμε σίγουρα!!

I recently dined at Fush market and was absolutely blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, the cozy ambiance and friendly staff made me feel right at home. But what really stood out was the food! The seafood was incredibly fresh, and every dish was bursting with flavor. I started with the clam chowder, which was rich and creamy with just the right amount of seasoning. For the main course, I had the grilled cod frikase – perfectly cooked, tender, and flaky, with a light smoky finish. The sides were equally impressive, especially the roasted vegetables that paired perfectly with the fish. The service was top-notch, with our server being attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations. The wine list was well-curated and complemented the dishes wonderfully. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone who loves high-quality seafood in a welcoming setting. Whether you’re a local or visiting, it’s definitely worth a visit
Ωραίο concept, ότι δοκιμάσαμε ήταν πολύ ωραίο και η εξυπηρέτησε πολύ καλή. Από τα λίγα μαγαζιά που έχω δοκιμάσει καλό ψάρι στην συγκεκριμένη περιοχή.
Υπέροχο φαγητό πρέπει οπωσδήποτε να δοκιμάστε την ψαρόσουπα ακόμη την ονειρεύομαι φρέσκα ψάρια μυρίζουν θάλασσα! Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα

We visit this restaurant on a frequent basis and we are always pleased by the food and the service. The fish is always fresh, so are the oysters. Few changes in the menu lately and all that we tried was great. Please don’t miss to order the soups!
My second time there everything they have are so fresh so delicious loved it again and definately ll return whenever i go to athen. One of my fav rest in athen.
This as an amazing Fish Restaurant, extremely fresh food. I have yet to try their bouillabaisse. Put if the taste is anything like the fish soup with curry and coconut milk, which is delicious. So much so that I went back again and could not help myself but order the same food. Sauces are light, tasty and not overpowering. Try the seafood pasta. Homemade pasta, fish with a delicious sauce. A gourmet experience a kin to fine dinning.
