We stumbled across O Kritikos Grill and were instantly drawn in by the sight of their kontosouvli turning slowly in the window – it was too tempting to ignore! We booked a table online for 7:30pm, but later noticed that they don’t take online reservations after 8pm, preferring walk-ins for the later slots. So if you can’t find a table online, don’t let that put you off – just turn up and you’ll likely get seated.
The food was excellent – traditional, flavoursome and incredibly well priced for the quality. A real gem if you’re after authentic Greek grill fare in a casual, friendly setting. Highly recommended!
We had an amazing experience at Kritikos. If you get an opportunity to have the porterhouse you will not regret it. I’ve eaten in a lot of steak restaurants that are triple the price and none of them have been as good as this.
