The restaurant has one of the best/romantic view in Rethimno, it has Venetian Fort on one side and Sea of Creta/Mediterranean Sea on the other. The tides in the Sea gets stronger as evening transit into night, the rocky terrain gíves tides that strong surface to impact on. They have many tables overlooking the sea, but on a busy evening it can still be limited, don't forget to reserve a Table in advance. There are few tables without roof , you could experience a nice breeze in the open area, it is refreshing and very much helpful after a long Sunny day. The sunset from here is also breath taking, take a walk afterwards on the other side around the Fort to experience best sunset with those perfect sunset with Orange, Pink, Maroon, Crimson color all mixed up.
The restaurant staff is top notch, they are well mannered, listen to you, welcome you with a big smile. You can have amazing Sea food, we tried Shrimps, Sea Bream fish, Sea food Rissotto, Sea food Linguine and all of them were delicious & fresh. We also tried Retsina White Wine which was quite nice. They won't let you go without a complimentary Dessert and Raki shots. The prices are reasonable.
Lovely selection of food and really decent size portions. We had a great evening overlooking the sea and soaking up the atmosphere. Highly recommended

A fabulous setting which accompanied a perfect dinner for the two of us. Great atmosphere and very helpful/friendly team. No hesitation in recommending. We did make a formal reservation but not always necessary if you arrive early enough to beat the busy times. VFM
