stuffed zucchini and many many other delicacies, with smells that tickle the

The crevice and tuna tartare were creative and well seasoned and the mussels as advertised were top class. The staff were friend and attentive making for a lovely evening with the family!

Ευχάριστη ατμόσφαιρα, πολύ καλό φαγητό, επιλογές που ικανοποιούν όλα τα γούστα, αρκετά καλή σχέση ποιότητας και τιμής.

Cheap and tasty food but:
Of the specials only 2 were available (out of 10) and one of the fishes (out of 4).
The waiter was extremely rude as well.
We had dinner reservation there, most of it was tasty expect for my main dish.
The waitress passed by our table many times and didn't ask us if we like the food and how's everything like you expect. When we asked for the check, the waitress finally asked me how was my dish (I didn't eat it at all) and then I said I didn't like it. Fortunately, they didn't charged me for that, which was quite fair.
As far as the ambience at the restaurant, we were sat next to a large and very noisy group of people which really effected our ambience and the ability to enjoy the atmosphere at the restaurant.
Other than that, the rest of the food was great but the service need to be improved.
Everything is perfect. The food is delicious. Specially rabbit meat is very tasty. Thank you for everything

The restaurant has a cozy and warm feeling. We visited there two person; ordered bread wlth cheese, half carafe house wine, mousakka, seabass and a small yogurt dessert. The prices are reasonable and worth every penny. The service might be a little late because of crowd but nothing went bad. The waitresses answered our every question. For me, its the first must-revisit restaurant in Athens. Highly and confidently recommended!!

De passage à Athènes, nous avons consulté le guide Michelin de la gastronomie et avons remarqué le restaurant OIKEIO Signifiant "à la maison". Et bien oui, nous y étions !!!

The meatballs (κεφτεδακια της νοννας) are fluffy, light and are served with a slice of lemon and chips. As I said, best in Athens.

A wonderful restaurant with amazing food. Service was absolutely fine when we attended (we're from Germany so we really know what bad service is like!), and the food was INCREDIBLE. Best lamb we've ever had! 10/10 stars. A wonderful family establishment. Will return when we come back to Athens!

Το προσωπικό είναι πολύ φιλικό και εξυπηρετικό. Το περιβάλλον ωραίο και «ζεστο». Το φαγητό ήταν καλό, όχι κάτι ιδιαίτερο. Όμως η εξυπηρέτηση και ο χώρος ήταν τόσο ωραία που αξίζει να το επισκευφθείς!
Χρειάζεται βελτίωση στην εξυπηρέτηση.Το φαγητό ήταν αρκετά καλό.

This is one of the best places I have ever eaten- and I have eaten in a lot of places. Each dish was exquisite! and plentiful! The service was wonderful and they were very accommodating. I was late for a reservation and one time I showed up with none! It was so good, I went back the following day and I would have gone again if I didn't have a day trip to Delphi! Was too tire when I got back!

Went here twice in a four night stay in Athens as it was so good! The fried cheese with sesame and honey was to die for, and the house wine tasty with great price.
We loved it as solid Greek food in a cute ambiance. We even came back! Meal was great and the dessert blew us away.
I came here the last time I was in Athens and returned again for the meatballs in egg lemon (αυγολέμονο) sauce. My friend ate the aubergine and chickpea which was also very tasty. Great relaxing and hospitable place to have a slow meal, especially after a walk up and down Lycabettus Hill :)

I absolutely recommend it for all foodies.
We learned of Oikeio from the staff of Coco.Mat Hotel and we ate their twice, on our first day in Athens and 16 days later on our last night in Greece. There are so many choices and they are prepared with care and the portions are very generous. On the last night we sat outside and learned that Oikeio has been awarded Michelin Star ratings 8 times. Well worthy. You may walk up but a reservation for after 6pm is highly recommended as it will be full all night. Despite the outstanding culinary experience, this was the most value we received for what we paid. Our least expensive meal of 16 nights and very well worth it. The staff are very welcoming, knowledgeable and passionate about making your meal an experience. Very well done!

A very nice place , a friendly service and fantastic food.
Had the meatballs in egg lemon sauce and stuffed aubergines for late lunch. Definitely the best meal I had in this trip. Worth mentioning as well are the good value for money of the food and the exceptional service of the staff. Would love to come back soon!
Amazing food with charming ambience. We ate like kings…3 different families and we sampled a variety of dishes amongst us. All were delicious, traditional and top notch quality. We ate all over Athens and also fine dining and I’m still craving the food at Oikeio!
It was a very nice place. The musaka the best I have tried (and I have leaves in Greece). The service was excellent. Very recommendable.

Our waiter was extraordinary. taking time with us, explaining food preparation and naming his favorite dishes. The yogurt pie was delicious. The grilled veal chop was tasty and the meat melted in your mouth. The salad was fresh and crisp, just the right amount of dressing. And the wine, house wine, was dry and full bodied. An excellent compliment to our dinner. An outstanding dining experience..
Great restaurant with a cozy neighborhood feel. The servings were very large and the food pretty good. The wait staff was friendly and chef was able to accommodate my son’s shellfish allergy.
This is the second time we are coming to Oikeio and it did not disappoint. The food is excellent, really authentic Greek food, with good quality ingredients and delicious flavors. The service was very good, as was the ambience of the restaurant. They did not rush us even though we lingered for a long time, and in the end of the meal treated us to some homemade drinks. Given the portions, the pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommend this restaurant!

My local friend from Athens recommended this restaurant as his first choice for traditional greek food. Of course I went and loved the ambiance and the food was amazing. The moussaka was amazing as well as the conserved cherries dessert. 10/10!

We had a reservation for 7 people but at the last minute had 4 other friends join us. The restaurant was very accommodating and managed to seat us, not at the same table but close to one another. The food was absolutely INCREDIBLE and at such a reasonable price, it was like magic! They are not pretentious dishes, they are just marvelously executed. The lamb was particularly memorable. I had the pork schnitzel which just perfectly done.
It was a little out of the way for us, as we were staying in Plaka, with all the other tourists but it was a €5-7 taxi ride.
They definitely deserve their Michelin recognition .

Oikeio is a charming Greek taverna in Kolonaki, serving typical Greek dishes but far more tastier than we ate anywhere else. The portions were also very generous, well presented and very fairly priced . We were four of us, we shared a delicious fresh green salad with filleted orange segments (vegan) and another extremely tasty whole hummus bean salad, for starters. Then we all had mains - my friends had a meat dish and melanzane with cheese which they really enjoyed, I ordered the stuffed vegetables- a tomato and a pepper stuffed with rice ,pine nuts and herbs - they were amazing ,definitely the best I’ve ever tasted ! And they were served with tasty, hand cut potato wedges. (All vegan :) ) My husband ordered pasta with a tomato sauce, herbs and capers - it was a very generous portion but so flavorful he couldn’t stop eating till it was finished! (Also vegan) For dessert we ordered the Greek yogurt with plums cooked in brandy- it was superb! We all drank cocktails/beer and the bill came to just under 100 Euros for all of us. The service was also excellent and friendly. We can’t wait to go back next time we’re in Athens!
I went there because it was Michelin Bib Gourmand but thus was just basic for, nothing special.
I happened upon this restaurant while stroking through the neighborhood. It has a real cute vibe, low key but well done. We are outside because the weather was nice but the inside has wonderful decor. The food is reasonable and most importantly delicious! The service was great!
Really easy booking. Atmospheric inside and out. Dined outside at night and menu was eclectic. Really enjoyed the starters in particular. Fava bean dip and grilled aubergine. Seemingly simple but absolutely lovely. Service was friendly and great. Five stars 🌟 for the employees. Price was really reasonable (and for Athens)
Lovely decor and great ambience. The service is exceptional and the food is wonderful. The grilled mushrooms were incredible, the veal in cognac sauce delicious , and the stuffed tomato and pepper was very flavorful. The cheese cake was amazing and so was the lemon mousse. Portions were genorous even by American standards

This may be my favorite restaurant worldwide. Excellent food, good service (and our waitress spoke fluent english), and beautifully decorated. I also love that they open for dinner a little earlier than they used to. I've gone to Oikeio on and off for 15 years when I am in town. Love it!

the most surprising element of this particular Michelin star restaurant was its cosy homely space. Its great for a date night and great to have a chill hang out with friends. the food was phenomenal, we ate some recommendations and fell off our chair.
I ordered a classic mousaka and im obsessed with mousakka and have been having it all over Greece. This was my favorite to date. their starter was an amazing feta filled puff pastry, which was incredible considering the humble elements of the meal. My friend had the most tender and delicious pork chop and another friend had a very flavorful and filling meat soup. Paros was our waiter and he was informative and attentive.

An unpretentious restaurant with good food and great prices in a very chic, upscale neighborhood where the ambiance is folksy and congenial and the service friendly and attentive.
The restaurant is beautiful. The Appetiser are tasty however the main course were bad. We were a group of 9. And most of us order chicken in different forms or pasta. All of them were bad. Very dry.
The 2 people in the group who ordered fish said it was good.

This restaurant on Ploutarhou street near Lykvittos Hill has a welcoming atmosphere with homely type interior decor. Menu choices were relatively extensive, food was excellent and service good.

The cheese pie was lovely and the house wine really good at a decent price. We tried the rabbit and the meatballs, was lots of good food. Overall a lovely experience. Plus the staff was helpful.

You MUST visit this restaurant if you're in the neighborhood. Both the exterior and interior have a beautiful charm, elegant yet homey at the same time. The food was delicious and felt as though it were cooked with love in a grandma's kitchen. The servers were all extremely friendly and took their time to guide us through the menu whenever we had questions.

Ελλήνων - μιλούσαν αμερικάνικα, ενοχλούσε έντονα παρλάροντας ... πολύ δυνατά, επίσης τα τραγούδια που ακογόντουσαν από το σύστημά σας ήταν πολύ δυνατά, ήταν απολύτως αδύνατο να κάνω με την συνομιλήτριά μου (και συνδαιτημόνα μου...) μια απρόσκοπτη ήσυχη συζήτηση ...
Το καταφέραμε πολύ αργότερα, όταν ο χώρος σας σχεδόν ... άδειασε ...
