Near Alcazar Park Pantopolion i Oka is certainly a very atmospheric restaurant in one of the most attractiv areas of Larisa. Just by its name the restaurant brings us back to the 50's and 60's when everything was simpler and especially more delicious. Sit on wooden chairs beside the stone walls of the main dining room and enjoy dishes made in an old fashioned way. The a la carte menu is quite extensive. For appetizers and ouzo get the baked eggplant, Melitzanompourekakia and Bougiournti. In particular there are fine local grilled meats. Fish lovers will find anchovies and sardines as well as shrimps, calamari, pout and whatever else, depending on the season and overning catch. Conclude your meal with a delicious and healthy salad with grilled seasonal vegetables, grilled cheese and balsamic vinegar dressing. Sample local wine or tsipouro or ouzo. And for dessert an "OKA" is offered called "submarine" with cold water (traditional Greek dessert - must try)!
